Successful public defense of three PhD Scholars of the Department of Physics, WUM

Vice Chancellor, the Women University Multan Prof Dr. Uzma Quraishi said that today is an important day in the history of Women University that three scholars from the same department are going to complete their PhD. The faculty of physics deserves congratulations for doing their job honestly and enhancing their research activities. She further said that Women University will continue to conduct high quality research and strives to contribute towards growth and development of society. She emphasized that every department should also take steps to standardize their research and benefit their scholars with modern knowledge. Scholar Ms. Tahira Yaqoob briefed the audience on the Carbon Nanotechnology Resistant Memory Device and answered the questions of the audience. Other scholars Ms. Rubia Shafique and Ms. Naseem Akhtar defended her dissertation after which it was recommended to award these scholars PhD degrees. These scholars completed their research under the supervision of Dr. Malka Rani, (HoD, Department of Physics) and as External Supervisors Dr. Rizwan Raza, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed and Dr. Abdul Shakoor also attended the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Controller Examinations Dr. Hina Ali, Dr. Malka Rani and other teachers were also present on the occasion.
