Grand Welcome Ceremony Held in Honour of Gold Medalist Tayyaba Mansab at The Women University Multan


A grand and memorable welcome ceremony was organized at The Women University Multan to honour its distinguished student, Tayyaba Mansab, who brought immense pride to the institution and Multan Division by winning the gold medal in the 75kg boxing category at the Khelta Punjab CM Punjab Pink Games 2026. Her outstanding achievement stands as a testament to her unwavering determination, athletic excellence, and indomitable spirit.
Tayyaba Mansab first secured her place at the prestigious event by successfully qualifying at the divisional level, where she was selected to represent Multan Division. She later competed at the provincial-level games held in Lahore, where she demonstrated exceptional technical skill, resilience, and remarkable sportsmanship to emerge as the champion and secure the gold medal. Her victory has brought honour and recognition to both Multan Division and The Women University Multan, reinforcing the institution’s growing prominence in the field of sports.
Upon her arrival at the university, Tayyaba Mansab was accorded a grand and enthusiastic reception. A large number of students gathered to welcome their champion with vibrant drum beats, cheers, and heartfelt admiration. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as students showered her with love and appreciation, celebrating her remarkable accomplishment and recognizing her as a symbol of inspiration for the entire student body.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kalsoom Pracha, warmly welcomed and congratulated Tayyaba Mansab, expressing immense pride in her historic achievement. Addressing the ceremony, she stated that such accomplishments reflect the strength, discipline, confidence, and resilience being nurtured among the students of the university. Sports Coach Mr. Musadiq, who played a pivotal role in mentoring and training the student, was also present on the occasion and expressed immense pride in Tayyaba’s achievement. As part of the celebration, a ceremonial cake-cutting was held, where the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Director Sports, and Tayyaba Mansab jointly cut the cake in the presence of faculty members and a large number of enthusiastic students.
