Dr Sara Majeed currently serves as a Lecturer in Urdu at The Women University in Multan, a position she has held since November 2015. She earned her Ph.D in Urdu from The Women University Multan in 2023. She completed her M.Phil in Urdu from The Women University Multan in 2017. She is also a Gold Medalist in M.A Urdu from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in 2011. Over her tenure at the university, she has successfully supervised 33 M.Phil and 01 Ph.D research theses. Throughout her academic career she has actively participated in professional development activities and has attended 15 national and international conferences, seminars, workshops and faculty development programmes. Dr Sara Majeed's role at the university is multifaceted, encompassing significant academic and administrative responsibilities. She is the Incharge of the Departmental Admission & Examination Committee, the Coordinator for M.Phil. Programs in Urdu, and a member of several key committees including DDPC, BOS, Departmental Library, Student Affairs, Departmental Finance, and SAR. Her professional achievements include securing the Gold Medal and First Position in M.A Urdu and distinction in M.Phil. With more than a decade of teaching, research supervision and academic administration, Dr Sara Majeed has developed extensive expertise in Urdu literature, higher education, curriculum implementation and university governance. Her dedication to academic excellence and institutional development makes her a valuable contributor to higher education and literary scholarship in Pakistan.
