Summary

Dr. Uzma Niaz 1joined, department of Sociology, The Women University Multan, Pakistan as an Assistant Professor in February, 2022 before this she has served The Women University Sialkot as a lecturer for three months. She was the head of department of Sociology and Criminology at Ali Fatima post graduate College Faisalabad for three years. She has completed her Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology, (2021), from department of Sociology, GC University Faisalabad, Pakistan. Her areas of Specialization are Sociology of Development, Community Development and Sociology of Gender. She did her master from department of Sociology, GC University Faisalabad, Pakistan, and Mphil degree in sociology from Department of Sociology, Riphah International University Faisalabad Campus, Faisalabad. More than 15 research publications on her credit and she has presented (04) research articles in national and international conferences. She is the member of Board of Studies (BoS) of BahauddinZakariya University Multan and Emerson University Multan. Currently she is member of different national and international professional organizations and societies. Along with academia she worked with different organizations as afreelance consultant like PWO,SFARI-Pak, Save the Children, Indus Consortium, Dooba Foundation. She has multidimensional sector expertise like; she is an academician, researcher as well as community development expert.
