I earned my Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, in collaborative project with North Carolina USA, with indigenous scholarship by HEC, Pakistan. My capability lies in the areas of genomics, proteomics, nanotechnology, identification and characterization of plant stress compounds and their applications, drug designing from medicinal plants under the umbrella of core field of biochemistry. I have published over 50 research articles and book chapters in renowned national and international journals.

• Up till now I have the credit to supervise 26 M.Phil Students and 1 BS student. Currently I am supervising 2 Ph.D and 3 M.Phil students.
• In addition to my academic duties I am honored to remained part of WUM as Deputy DSA, AD ORIC, AD QEC, Chairperson of BBT , organizer of events and various committees in the department of BBT.
• I am also actively participating to the scientific community as a member of various committees and international associations. I am reviewer and editorial board member for several prestigious scientific journals. Currently, I am the Editor of the Pakistan Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (PJBB), which is published by WUM.
• During my 9 years of experience at WUM and BZU, My professional abilities make me confident to improve the authoritative knowledge and skills of students, the institute and the scientific world.”
