Dr. Saba Zafar holds a PhD in Biotechnology with a broad interest in health and medical biotechnology from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan Pakistan, and completed a part of her research at King's College London UK. Her academic journey is distinguished by her status as a gold medalist, reflecting her exceptional commitment to research. She was also awarded a Travelling Fellowship in 2022 from the company of Biologist Cambridge UK and carried out Post-Doctorate research at Kings College London UK. She possesses extensive expertise in a variety of advanced techniques, including working with transgenic mouse models, DNA sequencing, animal cell culture, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, as well as microtomy and confocal microscopy, various types of PCR, and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). Her strong background in bioinformatics and statistical analysis further enhances her research capabilities, enabling her to draw meaningful insights from complex data.

• She is honored to be an HEC-approved PhD supervisor since 2021 and has supervised several MPhil students and currently supervises 3 PhD and MPhil students.
